# What is KYC?

KYC or "Know Your Customer" is a critical process for identity verification. This process involves getting to know the customer to counter criminal activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and potential scams.<br>

**Who Needs to Conduct KYC at E-Launch?** \
Currently, only project owners are required to conduct a KYC with us.<br>

**How to Conduct KYC?** \
To initiate the KYC process, please [Samantha](https://t.me/samanthaelaunch) on Telegram, where we will provide you with all the necessary instructions. Please note that as we need to verify all details and have a call with you, the process of obtaining a KYC badge may take some time. We advise you to contact us well in advance. We are pleased to inform you that KYCs are free of charge at E-Launch.<br>
